LIFE WILL NEVER BE BALANCED
--
Matt Riddle mentioned in his book ‘The Rational Optimist’ that an income gap is an inevitable consequence of an expanding economy.
For a country that is growing and expanding, the income of the rich will grow faster than that of the poor. Unfair right? Well, that’s the reality and you need to act fast if you want to join the league of the bourgeoisie.
To show how ancient this truth is, it is recorded in the holy book that there will never be a time when there are no poor in the land.
This is enough indication for us that life will never be balanced, where you are on the divide is entirely your choice and the consequence of the decisions you make every passing day.
Time is the true measure of prosperity; you do have the same time in a day (24 hours) as the richest man in the world. The question is why are you not as wealthy as he is? The answer- he has mastered how to get the maximum value for his time, no minute is lost without revenue being generated.
Wealthy people do not sleep eight hours in a day, that’s one third of your life already. You need to consciously put your time to good use and always remember that every second you lose or waste means income lost.
Convert every little time to money and get value for your time. Evaluate yourself twice in a day, how much money have you made in the first 12 hours and how much value have you created for people, do the same for the other 12 hours.
This conscious effort done daily will have a cumulative effect on how your week/month/ year and eventually your life will turn out to be.
Never blame your poverty/poor condition on your parents or environment, the truth is that some people have it easier than others but your destiny is still in your hands.
Remember life is not balanced, therefore, continually strive to be at the right divide.
